I generally advise a guide-time of between 2 to 4 weeks, but this can vary depending on the complexity of the website. I understand the urgency of getting your business online quickly, so if you have a specific timescale in mind then I’m happy to discuss this with you.

I provide a full copywriting service as part of the package, which will be based on information you provide during our consultation. If you already have some content I’m happy to optimise it for the web for you.

Absolutely. You will have access to the editor and I can provide guides on how to make basic updates yourself. Don’t forget that one hour of changes per month is included in your Website Care Package.

After the initial 12 months, you will need to purchase a new Website Care plan to keep the website live. For more information and up to date pricing, please see the Website Care page.

The website is built into a self-contained platform. It may be possible to move the website to another hosting company that uses the same platform. 

It may be possible to export the website into a static format that can be used elsewhere, however I cannot guarantee that all features will function correctly in the exported format, and I will not be able to provide any support for making it work on another hosting platform.

Ownership of the content is passed to yourself once the website has been published. 

Please note that some content, such as stock images, may be subject to third-party licensing terms.

You will have editor access to expand your website yourself, or you can request expansion work to be completed for an additional fee depending on the nature of the changes required.

If you already own a domain name then this can be connected to the new website. If you do not have a domain name yet, or if you would like to change your domain name, then I can supply one for an additional fee.

Before you make payment a website proposal will be drawn up for you to agree to, and as soon as payment has been made work will begin on the new website. 

There is no early cancellation fee, but there are also no refunds in most cases. Please see the terms & conditions for more detail.

Basic visitor statistics are available. If you would like more advanced monitoring then I can assist you with integrating third-party services such as Google Analytics.

I don’t currently provide email services or support, but you are free to set these up with a different provider. If you have any questions about how this would work please do ask. 

Privacy: Prior to publishing I will install a Consent Management Platform (CMP) for you, which includes a cookie notice and a privacy policy.

Accessibility: I use industry best practices to ensure your website will be accessible to as many people as possible. Although not strictly required, an accessibility overlay can also be included upon request, which adds more options for visitors.

Other: If you work in a particular industry that has specific requirements for websites, please do let me know and I will do everything within my power to ensure the criteria are met.
